Terms of service
This is a draft awaiting legal review. No lawyer has read it yet, so its wording may still change.
These terms are the agreement between your business and Dovalis when you use Dovalis. They are short on purpose.
Who we are
Dovalis is run by SOULSOLUTIONS S.R.L., a company registered in Romania. You can reach us about anything at support@dovalis.com.
What Dovalis does
Dovalis helps a business collect testimonials from its customers with a link, decide which ones to show, and show them on pages it can share. What it offers will grow and change. When a change takes away something you use, we tell you by email before it happens.
Your account
- Dovalis is for businesses and the people who work for them, not for private use.
- Each account belongs to one business and has its own email address.
- Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done in your account, so tell us at once if you think someone else got in.
- Use an email address that works: it is where we send what you need to know.
The testimonials you collect and show
You decide what is asked, what is kept and what is shown. For the personal data in testimonials, your business is the controller and Dovalis handles the data for you, as the data processing agreement sets out.
- Show only real testimonials from real customers, given with their agreement. Dovalis records that agreement with every testimonial it collects.
- Do not write testimonials yourself, have them written for you, or pay for praise without saying so where it is shown.
- Do not change what someone said in a way that changes its meaning.
- Add a testimonial you received elsewhere only when the person agreed to it being shown.
- People who leave a testimonial must be 16 or older, or have a parent's agreement.
What we may remove
Anyone can report a published testimonial to us. If a testimonial or a page breaks the law or these terms, for example a fake testimonial or one shown without the person's agreement, we may hide or remove it. We tell you what we did and why.
What stays yours
What you and your customers put into Dovalis stays yours. You allow us to store it, handle it and show it only as your settings say, and only to run Dovalis for you. We do not sell it and do not use it for advertising.
Ending
You can stop using Dovalis at any time. To have your account and everything in it deleted, write to support@dovalis.com from the account's email address.
We may close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. We tell you why first, unless the law does not allow it.
Our responsibility
Dovalis is in its first release. We work to keep it running and your data safe, and we fix what breaks, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility the law does not allow us to limit.
When these terms change
When these terms change in a way that matters, we tell you by email before the new version applies and ask you to accept it. Each version has a number and a date, shown at the top of this page.
